Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan announces an Art Competition dedicated to the “May 28 - National Day of Azerbaijan”
Topic for the Competition:
▪ Azerbaijan-Pakistan friendship is eternal & invincible
Schedule:
▪ Starting of the submission of pictures of the paintings is May 28, 2020; from 08:00 Hrs
▪ Starting from 11:00 am, June 8, 2020 the pictures of the paintings will be displayed on an official Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/AzEmbPak/) and Twitter (@AzEmbPak) pages of the Embassy and contest will be opened for voting by liking the pictures till June 30, 23:59 Hrs.
▪ Final results & winners will be anounced on July 9, 2020 on Diplomacy Day of Azerbaijan and awards ceremony will be held on the eve of the Independence Day of Azerbaijan – October 18, 2020.
Awards:
▪ First position: Rs 50,000, gift & certificate
▪ Second position: Rs 30,000, gift & certificate
▪ Third position: Rs 20,000, gift & certificate
Rules and Regulations:
▪ The contest is open for youth in Pakistan at age between 18-30 years
▪ It’s desirable that accurate and high quality pictures of the paintings, along with the full name of the painter and CNIC copy should be sent to the email address of the Embassy azpakembassy@gmail.com (only the pictures of the paintings (No photos, no copies etc.) that are sent to this e-mail will be accepted for contest).
▪ Those paintings which will collect more number of “like”s in the social profiles of the Embassy (both in Facebook + Twitter =Total number of likes), will be selected as the winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions. Requirements for paintings: Medium - Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Pencil Sketching. Size: 40 x 60 cm (min.), 50 x 70 cm (max)
▪ Displaying the pictures of the paintings in social media will be done by the Embassy according to the reception sequence via e-mail, as “First received First will be Displayed” rule.
▪ Current ranking table (number of likes) of the received pictures of the paintings (along with their web links) will be shared on every Tuesday and Friday between 12:00-13:00
▪ If necessary, participants may be asked for a short draft drawing of their paintings for checking, in order to ensure the transparency and fairness of the competition.
